Amy and Will are the kind of love story that belongs in the pages of a novel, because honestly, it practically started as one. She was behind the coffee machine, he was the regular who kept coming back, and somewhere between oat lattes and quiet little crushes, something beautiful started. He followed her on Instagram, she followed him back, and without missing a beat he messaged: “so now I finally know your name.” They’ve been best friends ever since. Tender, intentional, and completely devoted to each other. Before they elope privately, we celebrated them at the gorgeous Heronswood Garden in Melbourne, and it was every bit as dreamy as they are.

I wanted this session to hold both sides of them: the carefree, twirling, laughing-in-the-garden energy and the slow, quiet romance they carry so naturally together. Amy’s white flowy dress was absolutely made for Heronswood, and watching these two cuddle, dance and frolick through the garden on a January afternoon was genuinely one of those sessions that reminds you why this work is so special.
